Walk On!, the library’s Thursday morning walking group, is opening the group to new members for their outings. The group assembles at 10:15am at the library to carpool to a different walking area each week; walks last about an hour. The group has explored in-town walks, but also ventured to the Frances Shrader Old Growth Trail, the Jim Hunt Birding Loop, and several segments of the Rogue River Walk on Jerry’s Flat Road. Youth ages 9-18 are invited to the join library youth programs staff for a free lunch at the Gold Beach Community Center! Check out the menu here.
