Walk On! Gold Beach Walking Group
Walk On!, the library’s Thursday morning walking group, is opening the group to new members for their outings. The group assembles at 10:15am at the library to carpool to a different walking area each week; walks last about an hour. The group has explored in-town walks, but also ventured to the Frances Shrader Old Growth Trail, the Jim Hunt Birding Loop, and several segments of the Rogue River Walk on Jerry’s Flat Road. Grief Support Group
The Grief Support Group meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month at 3pm and is facilitated by Coastal Home Health & Hospice. The Group is free of change and open to the general public. All are welcome. Out to Lunch with the Library
Youth ages 9-18 are invited to the join library youth programs staff for a free lunch at the Gold Beach Community Center! Check out the menu here. Meet at Curry Public Library at 11am.Walk together to the Community Center for lunch, games, and ping pong.Return to the library by 1pm.Ages 9 and up can attend without an adult, under age 9 must have a parent present.
